About The NAMES Project Foundation 
Established in 1987, The NAMES Project Foundation is the international N.G.O. (Non-Governmental Organization) that is the custodian of The AIDS Memorial Quilt. The Foundation is a California Non-Profit Public-Benefit Corporation domesticated in the state of Georgia. Organized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity, the Foundation is designated as such by and registered with the I.R.S.

- The Mission of The NAMES Project Foundation:
- To preserve, care for, and use the AIDS Memorial Quilt to foster healing, heighten awareness, and inspire action in the struggle against HIV and AIDS.
