VIEW THE QUILT

At The NAMES Project Foundation we are always working to ensure public accessibilty to both The AIDS Memorial Quilt and to the individual stories of the men, women and children we have lost to this epidemic.

National Displays

Portions of The Quilt are constantly on display around the country at community displays coordinated by the national office and at displays conducted by members of our Chapter Program. There are always blocks hanging in our Atlanta, GA National Headquarters, too. In fact, if you are or will be in the Atlanta area contact us in advance and if the block containing your panel is not on display elsewhere, we'll gladly hang it for you to visit here!

Search The Quilt

Our commitment to making The Quilt accessible extends to the web. Our on-line Quilt image database contains images of more than 45,000 individual Quilt panels, searchable by either Quilt block number or by the name as it appears on the panel.

The Archive Project

And our ongoing Archive Project ensures that future generations will be able to learn from the Quilt through visual, oral, electronic, and written records that document the lives of the people memorialized on Quilt panels.
